Technology FAQs

Why might there be problems opening the videos in some locations?

The network you are using may be experiencing a high volume of Internet traffic.
It’s possible that your streaming video is blocked or bandwidth is limited at the public WiFi location you are using.
Coffee shops (or other public WiFi hotspots) sometimes use tools to limit or otherwise manage the amount of bandwidth each computer can use at a given time. This can cause slow loading times for the videos you are viewing.

The videos are, in some cases, quite large and sometimes take 1-2 minutes to load.

How do I increase the size of the screen?

There is a button in the bottom-right corner of the video that allows for you to expand the video to full screen. Please note that this could also cause the video to be pixelated.

How do I get sound if it is not playing?

Check the audio on your computer, tablet or mobile device. The volume on the videos is preset to full volume so you should only need to adjust via your viewing device.

How do I stop the video for discussion?

Click the “Pause” button (double bars) in the bottom-left corner of the video. Click it again to resume.
